Roasted Salted Almonds
An easy recipe to make Roasted Salted Almonds at home. These Almonds come out better than packaged ones at almost one third the cost. Make them to snack on or serve.

Ingredients

  1. Boil Water in a pot and add Salt.
  2. When the salt dissolves, switch off the flame and soak almonds for 20 minutes.
  3. After 20 minutes drain the water through a strainer. Leave the almonds in strainer for 5 minutes to drain all the excess water.
  4. Preheat oven at 160degrees.
  5. Put the almonds on a kitchen towel to dry.
  6. Shift the almonds on a baking tray lined with butter paper. Spread the almonds on tray.
  7. Put the tray in the oven and after every 5 minutes take out the tray and stir the almonds.
  8. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes. ALmonds when hot will not be crunchy, they are done when the inside of the almond starts turning pink.
  9. Let the almonds cool before shifting them to an air tight bottle.
