Bhatura
Chole Bhauture is a very popular street food i north. this recipe gives very light bhaturas.

Ingredients
  • 500Grams Maida Plain Flour
  • 1.5 Teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 2Teaspoons Sugar
  • 2Tablespoons Sooji
  • 1cup Curd
  • waterfor kneading
  • Oil for frying
Instructions
  1. Sift maida and Baking powder.
  2. Mix Sooji, Sugar
  3. Mix curd.
  4. Add water to make soft dough
  5. Keep it in warm place for 5-6 hours or overnight ( cover it with blanket if temp is low)
  6. Before frying punch it down and knead for a minute. Make small balls ,roll and fry.Note traditionally Bhaturas are not rolled but hand tossed.
