  1. Powder the daal
  2. Take ghee in a heavy bottom pan. Add sooji and roast. Add the daal powder, and roast on slow flame ( an hour) till brown.( most tiring step, stir continuously and on low flame)
  3. Add sugar , milk and mawa. when its thick add Cardamom powder and nuts.
  4. You can store this halwa for many days. Before serving add a little milk and heat.
